Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Legendary Notary, we respect your time and are committed to delivering efficient and reliable online notary services. To ensure seamless operations and accommodate all clients, we have implemented the following cancellation and refund policy.
Appointment Deposit
A $25 deposit is required to secure your notary appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service. Payment can be made at the time of booking, and your appointment will be confirmed once the deposit is received.
Cancellations & No Shows
Cancellation Notification
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client. You can contact us by phone at 817-525-3213 or via email at michelle@legendarynotary.com.
No-Shows
A "no-show" is when the signer does not attend the scheduled appointment without prior notice or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice. In such cases, the appointment deposit will be forfeited for the first occurrence. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, so we will send a reminder about the missed appointment and offer an opportunity to reschedule.
Refunds
Refund Eligibility
Due to the nature of notary services, completed notarizations or finalized notary acts are not eligible for a refund. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for services that have not yet been rendered.
Refundable Circumstances

Appointment Cancellation: If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, any advance payment, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be eligible for a refund.

Service Unavailability: If we are unable to provide the notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or an issue on our end, a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit, will be issued.
Refund Request
To request a refund, please email michelle@legendarynotary.com within 3 days of the original payment. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method, though processing times may vary depending on your financial institution. Please allow sufficient time for the refund to reflect in your account.
